he Ghost Pepper, commonly known as bhut jolokia in Assam is an interspecific hybrid chilli pepper cultivated in the North-Eastern part of India. Certified as the world’s hottest chilli pepper by the Guinness World Records in 2007, it is rated at more than one million Scoville Heat Units (SHUs).
